Job description

Radiology Partners Bluegrass is seeking a part-time Daytime Breast Radiologist for Baptist Health in Richmond, KY. This role offers a flexible Monday-Friday daytime schedule with exceptional compensation and a 100% breast imaging focus. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team utilizing state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Dedicated Mammography Center
  • Site Coverage: Baptist Health Richmond, a 105-bed hospital (94 acute care and 11 psychiatric beds) serving Madison, Estill, Garrard, Rockcastle, Lee, and Jackson counties.
  • Radiology Partners Bluegrass serves central, eastern, and northern Kentucky, partnering with multiple hospitals.
  • The practice fosters a strong culture of teamwork, physician leadership, and cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret tomosynthesis mammograms (screening and diagnostic)
  • Perform breast procedures including cyst aspiration
  • Perform biopsies (US and stereotactic guided)
  • Perform axillary node biopsy
  • Perform wire localization
  • Perform women's imaging ultrasound

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $3,000-$4,000 per shift.
  • Production Incentive: $40/work unit payout above 60 work unit threshold
  • Additional remote general diagnostic opportunities available to earn additional income

  • IC - Part-time (0-29hrs/week)
  • Flexible part-time Monday-Friday, daytime schedule

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • 1 year fellowship in Breast Imaging preferred
  • Licensed or ability to obtain a Kentucky license
