Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer | Herndon, VA | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days
Fairfax Radiology Centers - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our team at our 
Reston-Herndon Center.
In this role, you are the steady, reassuring presence for patients when they need it most. Your professionalism, empathy, and sonography expertise help ensure every patient feels supported and cared for throughout their visit.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a schedule designed to support work-life balance:
  • Tuesday - Friday | Four 10-hour shifts
  • Enjoy every Monday off for a three-day weekend
  • No weekends, evenings, major holidays, or call
  • Free on-site parking available
What You'll Do
  • Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations, including:
    • OB (1st trimester)
    • GYN
    • Abdominal
    • Small Parts
  • Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required
  • Consistently acquire and evaluate high-quality images for diagnostic accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding exam findings
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy
What You'll Bring
  • New graduates in Diagnostic Medical Sonography are welcome and encouraged to apply
  • 1+ year of experience in general ultrasound preferred
  • RDMS certification required upon hire
  • Current BLS certification

Compensation & Growth:
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
$39.95 - $54.05 per hour
