Summary:
Assists radiologist with all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures. Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Associate's degree in Radiology preferred or Technical diploma
  • Required Certification: ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) specializing in Cardiovascular or Vascular Interventional, within 6 to 12 months, in addition to Radiology License and BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Required Experience: 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology as an invasive vascular rad tech intern or 1 year experience as an invasive vascular rad tech or invasive neurovascular rad tech.
