Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • State radiologic technologist license required. Limited licenses are not accepted. Compact licensure not accepted.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred. Experience performing mobile/portable Xray in nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, or longterm care is preferred.
  • Ability to perform and transmit portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography exams and EKGs as needed.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs or more multiple times per day.
  • Vaccination against COVID19 required or approved exemption documentation provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide mobile Xray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other care sites.
  • Perform and process Xrays using portable DR or CR equipment and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload and transport portable Xray equipment into facilities and obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
  • Perform EKGs as required and transmit to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
  • Maintain vehicle and Xray equipment in serviceable condition.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch and management and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.

Work Schedule and Logistics:
  • Shift: Evenings.
  • Typical hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Weekend work may be required based on caseload and will constitute overtime when applicable.
  • Direct hire position. Start date approximately 08/10/2026. Duration: open/permanent placement.
