MRI Technologist - Outpatient
📍 Fairfax MRI Center, Fairfax, VA
🕒 Full-Time | Monday - Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

At Fairfax Radiology Centers, our MRI Technologists work in a dedicated outpatient MRI center using advanced GE 1.5T and 3T systems in an ambient, patient-friendly setting. You'll focus on delivering high-quality imaging and patient care - without the unpredictability of a hospital environment.

In your first 90 days, you will:
  • Independently perform routine MRI exams with confidence and accuracy

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine and specialty MRI exams, including breast imaging
  • Deliver high-quality imaging with strong attention to patient safety and comfort
  • Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
  • Follow MRI safety protocols and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely diagnostic imaging
  • Support patients through exams with clear communication and reassurance

Qualifications
Required
  • 6+ months of MRI experience or completion of an MRI training program
  • ARRT (R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification
  • BLS certification
Preferred
  • Experience in outpatient imaging environments
  • Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems

Compensation & Growth:
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
$41.65 - $56.35 per hour (plus generous shift differential)
