Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
  • Position: Radiologic Technologist II

  • Location: 24600 W 127th Street, Plainfield, IL

  • Part-Time, 20 hours weekly

  • Hours: Rotating weekend nights 2200 - 0630, and rotating holidays

What you will do:

Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols. Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining images and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems. Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Associate's degree, preferred

  • IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation"

  • At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.). Required within 2yrs of temporary license date.

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

  • Preferred: Prior x-ray experience in a hospital setting Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations
