Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our Radiology team. This individual will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, exhibits technical excellence, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during all phases of imaging.
  • Assess and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Monitor procedures and determine when revisions or additional imaging is needed.
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily imaging schedules.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and healthcare staff.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with various imaging equipment, including setup, use, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of current clinical practices, healthcare informatics, and advancements in imaging technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education & Certifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography School.
  • Valid New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License (NJ RT).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
