Job description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an engaging role as a radiologic technologist, providing essential imaging services within a dynamic clinical environment. You will play an integral part in patient care, utilizing your expertise in radiology and X-ray technology to ensure diagnostic excellence.

Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 7.5-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Every other weekend coverage required

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Valid NJ State RT License and ARRT certification
  • BLS Certified
  • Minimum 18 months hands-on experience as an X-Ray Technician, with ability to work independently in a busy, high-capacity setting
  • Strong proficiency with GE imaging equipment; comfortable performing imaging procedures in the OR
  • Sound understanding of trends in healthcare informatics and new imaging technologies
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures consistent with professional, state, and federal standards
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
  • Uphold patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures
  • Assess and adapt to procedural changes as needed, coordinating daily imaging schedules
  • Deliver clear and concise documentation related to imaging and patient care
  • Take initiative in supporting departmental workflow and other duties as assigned
