What You'll Do

As the Weekend RN Supervisor, you'll oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while supporting and mentoring clinical staff.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical leadership and supervision for nursing staff during your shift

  • Conducting resident rounds and responding to changes in condition

  • Assessing new admissions and ongoing resident needs

  • Coordinating and overseeing individualized care plans

  • Communicating effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Reviewing and implementing physician orders accurately and promptly

  • Supporting direct resident care when needed, including medication administration and treatments

  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies

  • Maintaining adequate staffing levels and assisting with staffing adjustments as needed

  • Participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

  • Assisting with regulatory surveys and maintaining survey readiness

  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff to promote clinical excellence

  • Promoting a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents, visitors, and employees

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a nurse leader who brings both clinical expertise and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Peripheral IV Certification

  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or hospital settings

  • At least 1 year of supervisory or charge nurse leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, clinical standards, and long-term care practices

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills

  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive in a fast-paced environment
