Job description

Legacy is looking for a Project Manager that can work with a talented team to ensure the continued growth of the Company. The Main function of the Project Manager position is to manage the design procurement and construction projects from scope creation, through final physical completion of construction projects while ensuring the projects are completed on time, in strict accordance with the project scope and within budget. 

In this role you will:

• Prepare Scopes of Work for assigned projects. 

• Work with designers, architects, engineers to create design plans and documents for contractor bidding and construction.

• Prepare, substantiate and maintain budgets, estimates, schedules and other documents to monitor and control project status.

• Prepare bid requests, Request for Quotations, select invited contractors and place projects out for bids.

• Review, understand and mark up (as needed) various submittals and shop drawings to adhere to project scope, plans and specifications.

• Ensure the bidding process and contracting is consistent with requirements per our partnership/management company agreements.

• Analyze bids, negotiate terms and prepare contracts.

• Manage all aspects of construction projects from creating in-house estimates, RFP's, reviewing/awarding contracts, invoice processing and construction management.

• Visit jobsites to ensure proper execution of contracts and projects.

• Ensure internal policies and procedures are followed and construction projects are completed on time, correctly and within budget.

• Manage assigned construction projects.

• Manage vendors/trades/contractors to ensure their work is completed according to contract terms/specs, timely and within budget.

• Maintain and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

• Communicate timely with vendors and contractors on bids and construction projects.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications / Skills/ Abilities

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction technology, Construction Management or equal from an accredited college or university.

• Certified Construction Management (CCM) or Project Management (PMP) a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience managing multiple construction projects of increasing size and complexity in mutli-family, residential development and or commercial construction as a Project Manager or Owner's representative managing similar construction projects.

• Must be able to pass a drug and background screening.

• Efficiently operates assigned computer software and other equipment, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Microsoft Project and project management software systems.

• Must have valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.

Work Environment

• This position is remote and will require 30% to 60% travel.
