JOB SUMMARY
The Production Coordinator plays a critical, hands-on role in supporting daily operations within the Direct Mail facility. This position supports Area Leads by maintaining production workflow, ensuring jobs are ready and running as planned, and responding to real-time needs on the production floor.
The Coordinator's day-to-day work is intentionally flexible and floor-focused. Priorities may shift throughout the shift based on production needs and business demands. This role may involve printing work orders, recording data for production video displays, troubleshooting issues, locating materials, or stepping in as a backup Area Lead when needed. The Production Coordinator helps ensure work flows smoothly, safely, and with a high level of quality.

Responsibilities and Activities
  • Prints, organizes, and distributes all work orders for the production floor.
  • Ensures work orders are accurate, complete, and aligned with the production schedule.
  • Coordinates updates or reprints as priorities or schedules change.
  • Maintains production workflow across assigned departments to support on-time delivery.
  • Supports Area Leads with real-time coordination and problem solving on the production floor.
  • Monitors jobs in PrintStream to confirm readiness and assist in locating materials.
  • Conducts continuous quality checks throughout the shift.
  • Completes internal Sign-Off processes accurately and timely.
  • Monitors safety compliance and ensure adherence to all PPE and safety requirements.
  • Ensure scheduled jobs are stocked, staged, and ready for setup or production.
  • Completes Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when appropriate.
  • Updates production tracking tools and reports, including floor plans, count sheets, and shift pass-downs.
  • Records production data to support performance tracking and video display reporting.
  • Prepares the floor for shift changes, including restocking materials and clean-up.
  • Operates equipment when necessary to support workflow and coverage needs.
  • Provides backup coverage for Area Leads as required.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and communication.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support the team and operational success.
