Job description

Weekend Production Supervisor
  1. Job Summary
    1. The Weekend Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervision of the Mill Operators, Baggers, and Warehouse organization of Southeastern Reduction Company. This position is to ensure the mill operators and baggers are performing their duties properly and orders are correct and placed in the proper place in the warehouse.
  2. Reports
    1. Weekend Production Supervisor reports to the Superintendent of Supervisors.
  1. Responsibilities – include but are not limited to the following:
    1. The objective of the position is to oversee the milling and bagging of the products and making sure they are ready to ship.
    2. Constant improvement in efficiencies in milling and bagging.
    3. Verifying the Mill Operators are performing their duties which include monitoring silos, feed tanks, and filling out proper paperwork.
    4. Verifying the Mill Operators are providing the correct pallets and bags for the order to be produced.
    5. Verifying that reprocessing of product is occurring and performed properly.
    6. Ensuring product testing procedures are being done correctly and efficiently.
    7. Verifying the completion of required paperwork, production documentation, and proper labeling of finished products.
    8. Verifying testing daily productions and making adjustments as needed to meet specific moisture and particle size requirements.
    9. Verifying placing protective barriers on pallets before stacking such as plastic wrap and cardboard slip sheets.
    10. Verifying weights of pallets.
    11. Verifying of each unit of product to ensure proper coding.
    12. Verifying all paperwork for production records are properly documented.
  2. ​Schedule: Job is 36 hours a week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a 12-hour shift of either 1 AM to 1 PM
