Job Title : Performance Tester
Loc: Milwalkee, WI
JD:
  • 7 to 10+ years as performance Testing/Architect with client facing experience.
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of technologies like web, web services, messaging layers, data layer and Mobile devices.
  • Primary skills: JMeter, K6, Artillery.
  • Secondary skills: Dynatrace, New Relic.
  • Very strong experience in performance diagnostics, capacity planning, and performance architecture design.
  • Must have excellent record of mentoring and leading the Performance Engineers to even greater accomplishments to ensure that application meets the highest standards of Performance, Scalability, and Reliability in the industry.
  • Must have experience in cloud application performance testing.
  • Must possess exposure to scripting language.
  • Experience in developing utilities/accelerators for performance testing.
  • Must have experience in Chaos testing.
  • Must possess strong experience using and implementing best practice programs with respect to load generation, bottleneck analysis, usage of modeling tools and statistical analysis.
  • Must be able to provide technical leadership to other members of the technology team and to projects under test.
  • Expert ability to capture/analyze /interpret technical data - performance metrics from application, database, OS, and Network.
  • Expert ability to identify / resolve system bottlenecks.
  • Familiarity with current technologies is required; especially in complex, transaction-intensive web-based systems utilizing SOA techniques preferably implemented using Java, Big data and Web Services.
  • Ability to clearly characterize system performance results to stakeholders.
  • Must have experience in reporting test results to different functional groups and external and internal clients.
  • Experience in developing performance testing framework.
  • Experience in open-source distributed performance testing frameworks.
  • Experience with planning and managing any of the following teams: performance diagnostic, capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, or software development team.
  • Ability to distill volumes of data, analyze performance results, and diagnose performance problems.
  • Ability to work independently and interface collaboratively with development, engineering and architecture teams required.
  • Expertise in tuning various complex architectural applications in meeting performance requirements.
  • Establish performance engineering process.
  • Expert troubleshooting and reasoning skills.
