  • Help build confidence and consistency among volunteer tech teams
  • Partner with worship and Sunday Experience Team (SET) leaders to align volunteer roles and expectations
  • Identify opportunities to simplify systems to better support volunteers

Partnership & Coordination

  • Partner with the Video Production Specialist to ensure recording environments
    are ready and supported
  • Coordinate with Communications and campus teams around production-related needs
  • Provide clear input on production feasibility, readiness, and limitations
  • Communicate system issues, risks, and recommendations clearly and calmly

Planning & Stewardship

  • Exercise wise stewardship of production resources and budgets

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Weekend Experience

  • Reduced reliance on staff intervention during services
  • Clear, repeatable production workflows for volunteers

System Stewardship

  • Accurate, up-to-date production equipment inventory

  • Healthy partnership with the Video Production Specialist
  • Trusted technical input that supports decision-making without overreach

Sustainability

  • Role boundaries are respected and maintained
  • Production systems are simplified where possible
  • The role remains focused, manageable, and effective at 30 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience supporting live production environments (church, venue, or event-
    based)
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and projection systems
  • Comfortable troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to volunteers and non-technical staff
  • Calm, solution-oriented presence under pressure
  • Alignment with Crossroads mission, values, and culture
