Job description

The job

You'll run crews on commercial electrical work: ground-up new construction, remodels, service upgrades, and national rollout programs for retail and facility clients. This is a hands-on foreman role — you're reading prints, running conduit, and terminating devices alongside your crew, not just directing from a truck.

Day to day

  • Manage electrical scope from rough-in through final on new construction and remodel projects
  • Assign work, set job site expectations, and keep the crew productive and safe
  • Read blueprints and construction documents; lay out work accurately
  • Quality control testing and troubleshooting
  • Order, receive, and stage materials so the crew isn't waiting
  • Handle daily documentation and reporting on time
  • Coordinate directly with store and facilities managers on site
  • Teach and develop apprentices and journeymen under you

What you need

  • 8+ years commercial electrical experience, with time running crews
  • Solid working knowledge of installing commercial electrical systems
  • 3+ years reading blueprints and construction documents
  • Willing to travel — this role is roughly 75% travel
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and your own hand tools
  • Comfortable on a computer; Procore experience is a plus
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and overtime as jobs require
  • Physically able to climb ladders and move moderately heavy material

Pay and benefits

  • $38.00–$50.00/hr, depending on experience — paid weekly
  • $4/hr shift differential on night work
  • Overtime available; 10-hour shifts, weekends as scheduled
  • Medical, dental, and vision
  • FSA and HSA options
  • Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and EAP
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Parental leave
  • $100 referral bonus per hire
  • Training and continuing education support

.
