Job Title: Demolition Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Demolition Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial and industrial demolition projects in the Dallas, Texas area. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing demolition operations from pre-construction through project closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction or demolition, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of safety, environmental regulations, and project budgeting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of demolition projects, including scheduling, budgeting, safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.

  • Conduct site assessments and collaborate with engineers, environmental consultants, and regulatory agencies as needed.

  • Obtain and manage required permits, notifications, and documentation per federal, state, and local laws.

  • Manage daily field operations and provide leadership to site superintendents, equipment operators, and labor crews.

  • Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures.

  • Track project progress, manage budgets, and submit regular reports to senior management and clients.

  • Mitigate risk by proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact timelines or costs.

  • Maintain client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for communication and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate waste disposal and recycling of materials in compliance with sustainability and regulatory goals.

  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.

  • Ensure proper documentation and closeout of projects, including final inspections and client sign-offs.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in demolition, construction, or related project management

  • Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, or structural demolition projects

  • Strong knowledge of demolition methods, heavy equipment, permitting, and safety compliance

  • Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractors effectively

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

  • OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training

  • Asbestos or hazardous material abatement certification a plus

  • PMP certification is a plus


Work Environment:
  • Field and office-based role with regular visits to active demolition sites

  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments and around heavy equipment

  • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed by project timelines
