Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects from ground-up through completion. This individual will be responsible for coordinating field operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout the construction process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong carpentry and multifamily construction background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple project stakeholders while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on multifamily construction projects

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents

• Ensure all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards

• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and inspections

• Monitor project progress and maintain adherence to construction schedules

• Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and construction challenges

• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and field records

• Utilize Procore for project management, reporting, and communication

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies

• Conduct quality control inspections and manage punch list completion

• Support field crews and assist with project execution as needed

• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of large-scale multifamily construction experience

• Strong background in field supervision and project execution

• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and project logistics

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• OSHA 10 Certification (minimum)

• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Carpentry background

• Experience with ground-up multifamily developments

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
