Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Respite | PRN / Per Diem

Shifts: 12-hour AM or PM (based on your availability)

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a Medical Respite Program serving unhoused adults experiencing acute illness.
This program provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals who are too ill to recover on the streets but do not require hospitalization. The care team works closely with local nonprofits and community partners to help patients stabilize, recover, and connect to ongoing resources.

What You'll Do
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from acute illness or injury
  • Perform assessments, monitor conditions, and document care
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered

What We're Looking For
  • Active Arizona RN license (or compact license)
  • Experience in med-surg, community health, behavioral health, or similar settings preferred
  • Ability to work with diverse populations with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
  • A genuine interest in serving unhoused or underserved communities
Requirements (Compliance)
To be eligible for placement, candidates must have or complete:
  • BLS/CPR certification (required)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification (required)
  • TB test or chest X-ray clearance
  • Completion of assigned Relias training modules
  • Background check and drug screen
