Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Surgical Stepdown setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
  • Float to PCU or Medical-Surgical unit as needed based on staffing and census demands
  • Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Georgia or compact licensure eligibility
  • Current experience in PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or Medical-Surgical nursing
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to float between PCU and Medical-Surgical units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Familiarity with intermediate cardiac monitoring and post-surgical patient care
