Saratoga Medical is hiring a Registered Nurses (RN) for PRN & WOCin Phoenix, AZ. Package includes competitive rate and flexible work opportunities.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN & WOC in Phoenix, AZ. This is a great opportunity for nurses seeking flexible, as-needed shifts across various healthcare settings, including assignments with Maricopa County Correctional Health Services. Position Types:

  • WOC RN: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week, minimum 13-week commitment, Jail/Clinic: Intake, Transfer, Release (ITR) - No floating to other jails
  • PRN RN: As needed Night shift 4 shifts per 28 days, shift location varies at ANY jail/clinic location, according to CHS needs
Job Description:
  • Provides assessments and implements appropriate nursing interventions
  • Monitors patient's progress as appropriate and evaluates outcomes
  • Performs standard nursing procedures appropriate to patient needs
  • Completes and processes all required documentation, including plans and discharge planning, in a comprehensive, objective, and legible manner
  • Provides health-related education to patients as appropriate to patient needs
  • Administers medication and addresses other pharmacological needs as protocol dictates, and performs basic intravenous and phlebotomy skills as required
  • Participates in the orientation and training of new employees, contract staff, students, and others as needed
Required Qualifications & Documentation
  • Copy of current, valid, unrestricted RN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing OR a participating Compact State
  • Copy of current, completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (Nursys)
  • Copy of current N95 fit testing
  • Minimum one year of past work experience in this position
  • Copy of current, completed First Aid Certification
