As a home health nurse at the University of Vermont Health - Home Health and Hospice, you’ll work alongside a diverse, supportive team of nurses, physicians, and specialty practitioners who truly care about their patients and their community . Our full-time positions are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, which is amazing schedule for parents or those who want work/life balance. There is one rotating weekend day every 5-6 weeks, but you will not work one of the weekdays those weeks.

Our Community Health Nurses provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes—helping individuals remain where they feel most comfortable . We work to the top of our licensure and collaborate closely within a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team that includes:

  • Registered Nurses (RNs)

  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

  • Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs)

  • Physical Therapists (PTs)

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of home health or public health nursing experience preferred, OR a combination of education and experience that provides comparable skills

  • Home care experience is helpful but not required—we will happily train motivated candidates who are eager to learn

Incentives:

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
