Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to support operations at our manufacturing facility in Beltsville, Maryland. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and property.

This position follows a rotating 12-hour day shift schedule, ย meaning some weeks you will work 3 days, and other weeks 4 days. 7am to 7pm.ย

Requirements

Schedule Details

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Rotation:
    • Week 1: 3 days
    • Week 2: 4 days
  • Includes weekends as part of the rotation
  • Consistent, predictable schedule once assigned

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor facility entrances and exits
  • Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors
  • Conduct routine security checks and patrols
  • Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
  • Maintain daily security logs and incident reports
  • Respond calmly and professionally to situations as they arise
  • Support overall workplace safety policies

Qualifications

  • Prior security, warehouse, or facility experience preferred (not required)
  • Ability ย to remain alert and attentive during 12-hour shifts
  • Strong ย reliability and punctuality
  • Professional demeanor and good communication skills
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
