Flexographic Press Operator / Flexo Pressman

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join their production team in Springfield, Tennessee. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality flexible packaging products.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on flexo press experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to run jobs efficiently while maintaining quality, color, registration, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specifications
• Review job tickets, print specifications, materials, inks, plates, and customer requirements
• Monitor print quality throughout each run, including color, registration, impression, and overall appearance
• Make press adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards
• Perform make-readies, changeovers, setups, and cleanups efficiently
• Identify and correct print defects, press issues, and production problems
• Work with inks, substrates, plates, anilox rolls, cylinders, and related press components
• Follow quality control procedures and complete required production documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine press maintenance
• Communicate with supervisors, helpers, quality, and other production team members
• Follow all company safety procedures, production standards, and quality expectations

Preferred Experience:

• Previous flexographic press operation experience required
• Flexible packaging experience strongly preferred
• Experience with film, roll stock, labels, bags, pouches, or related packaging materials is a plus
• Strong understanding of color, registration, ink, substrates, and print quality
• Ability to read and follow job tickets, specifications, and production instructions
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot press or quality issues
• Experience performing setups, changeovers, and make-readies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
