Job description

JOB SUMMARY

This position is for a Plant Operator II whose responsibilities include: ensuring the Engineering power plant operates in a safe and reliable manner in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations organizational and departmental policies and procedures.  This position reports to the Plant and Engineering Supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum level of Education: Educational Level equivalent to completion of high school preferred.
  2. Formal Training: Some technical or vocational training preferred.
  3. Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Valid Class C driver’s License required. HVAC certified preferred.
  4. Work Experience:  Intermediate skills in use of power tools and application of finish materials, i.e., paint, vwc, vct, sheet vinyl, etc. Two years experience in basic maintenance of boilers, pumps, air compressors, and HVAC systems, required. 

Scheduling: Monday - Friday (Days); (On-call required including weekends)
