Plant Operator / Equipment Operator
Pay: $20.00 per hour + Overtime Opportunities
Schedule:
  • Sunday through Thursday
  • 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Overtime available based on production needs

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Plant Operator / Equipment Operator to join our asphalt production team. This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment, assisting with plant operations, monitoring production processes, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, can perform physical duties, and is comfortable working overnight shifts in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and other production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and assist with asphalt plant operations to ensure continuous production.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance concerns.
  • Load and move materials as needed throughout the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the plant and surrounding work areas.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and support plant maintenance activities.
  • Complete required documentation and production records.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications
  • Previous equipment operation experience preferred.
  • Experience in asphalt, construction, aggregates, manufacturing, or industrial environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred.
