  • Develop & implement PLC and multi-axis motion control programs for advanced labeling systems
  • Create clear documentation to support assembly, testing, debugging, and long-term servicing of equipment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, electrical, and mechanical engineers, as well as sales teams and customers, to fully define project scope and requirements

  • Education: BS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience: 7+ years in controls engineering with a focus on motion control and high-speed automated machinery
  • Proven experience in multi-axis motion control programming
  • Skilled in structured text programming
  • Hands-on experience with B&R Automation Studio (required)
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols: OPC-UA, Powerlink, Ethernet/IP
  • HMI programming experience (required), ideally with B&R mappView and Allen Bradley FactoryTalk SE/ME
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex automation issues
  • SQL database experience (plus)
  • SCADA / MES experience (plus)
  • Results-driven with high standards
  • Organized, able to set priorities and track progress
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and willing to share knowledge
  • Strong communicator-professional in listening, speaking, and writing
  • Analytical problem solver with a structured approach to identifying causes and generating solutions
