Clinical Pharmacist - Emergency Medicine
Portland, Oregon
Full Time / Variable Shift
The Clinical Pharmacist - Emergency Medicine provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department. This role involves direct patient care, participation in emergency response, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy outcomes.
The position also includes a secondary clinical focus in Pediatrics/NICU and participation in operational pharmacy services. The pharmacist will serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students.
Required Qualifications
  • PharmD or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Active Oregon Pharmacist License (required upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year acute care hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent)
  • Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or Pediatrics preferred
