What You'll Be Doing


In this role, you will play an important part in supporting Mint's commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Patient Care & Counseling:Assess patient health, manage medication therapy for chronic/acute conditions, and provide education on medications.
  • Clinical Services:Administer vaccinations (injections), adapt prescriptions, and manage drug therapy to prevent and treat health disorders.
  • Dispensing & Compounding:Prepare, package, and distribute medications, ensuring accuracy in dosage, labeling, and storage.
  • Collaboration:Work within multidisciplinary teams (in clinics/hospitals) to optimize patient care and transition plans.
  • Drug Information:Act as a drug information resource for patients and other health professionals.


What You'll Bring


We are looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, professionalism, initiative, and care.


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Education:Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Licensure:Active or eligible for registration with the applicable provincial pharmacy regulatory body
  • Experience:Previous experience in a hospital setting or in direct patient care is often preferred.
  • Screening:A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search are required.
  • Skills:Strong clinical assessment skills, effective communication (verbal and written), and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Technology:Experience using electronic health records (e.g., Kroll) and medication order entry systems.
  • Certification:Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA).
