**Job Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented, advanced level pharmacy technician who will perform daily pharmacy tasks and patient care in our team.
**Responsibilities:**
Advanced Pharmacy Technician
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Process prescriptions and prepare medications accurately.
  • Resolve insurance rejection issues.
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Meets productivity goals for fast paced environment.
  • Monitors workflow priorities to ensure promise times.
  • Communicate with patients in professional manner to alert them of any issues or delays with their prescription.
  • Coordinate/Prepare medication deliveries.
  • Cooperate with pharmacists to meet State Laws and Regulations.
Patient Care Task
Provides quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Answers and directs phone calls.
Verifies shipping info and collects credit card information from patient if needed.
Transfers the patient to the Pharmacist for consultation on new prescriptions.
Daily follow up calls to patients and providers as needed.
Documents entire process in pharmacy software for tracking purposes.
Manages the Return to Stock process.
**Requirements**
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy (At least 3 years)
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Professional and courteous; demonstrates PCP core values
- Problem solving and strong math skills
- A demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
- Personal pride in delivering high quality products while following operational protocols and requirements
- A highly motivated and productive self-starter
- Ability to prioritize tasks and excellent time management in a fast paced, high volume workload environment
- High School Diploma/GED
- Current active GA pharmacy technician license
