Pay based upon experience.CDL-A Preferred!Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to maintain and repair all vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment to maximize customer satisfaction and sales. This role will also install, remove and relocate all vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment to maximize customer satisfaction. Perform preventative and quality maintenance checks in addition to maintaining various records and reports. This position will also function in a relief role to the Delivery Customer Representatives and Territory Sales Managers by ordering, delivering, stocking, rotating, and merchandising products.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, Employee Assistance Program, etc.Essential Job FunctionsDiagnose and repair vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipmentInstall, remove and relocate vending, fountain and all other dispensing equipmentAccount for product and cash from vending machinesReman and/or prepare equipment for installationPerform daily handheld close out proceduresEnsure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory and restock as neededTransport product and equipment to and from special eventsPerform daily vehicle inspectionsMust be available to work weekends and on-call when assignedFunction in a relief role for the Delivery Customer Representatives to support vacations and illnesses. Function in a relief role to the Territory Sales Manager by ordering product for delivery to customer accountsDrive truck to deliver product to customer accountPrepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of productReconcile route each day and turn in all required DSD reportsStack product according to customer specificationsCollect empty pallets and shells from the customer's backroomStock, rotate, and merchandise product as neededDevelop and maintain good customer relationsMaintain vehicle to company standards including cleanlinessComplete pre-and post-trip inspectionsPerform other duties as necessaryQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentA valid "Class A" commercial driver's license and the ability to operate in Interstate commerceMust be at least 21 years of ageMechanical and refrigeration trade school training preferredDiagnostic/troubleshooting experience preferredKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenanceBasic electrical knowledgeBasic knowledge of tabletsEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to & experience in moving large pieces of equipment with mechanical aidesA driving record that meets LinPepCo's Policy on Driver RecordsKnowledge of inventory management and general merchandising Basic knowledge of tabletsEffective oral and written communication skillsSkills in problem-solving and judgment and decision makingObserve and follow all safety proceduresFamiliar with DOT regulationsWorking EnvironmentWork generally takes place in customer accounts, which may include working in close, confined spaces and exposure to occasional dust and unpleasant odors.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
