Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable
Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Health & Rehab team at Henson Park. In this role, you will support residents with daily activities while helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide hands-on support with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor Resident Well-being: Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental status to the nursing staff.
- Meal Assistance: Help residents with eating, drinking, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Housekeeping Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Companionship: Engage residents in meaningful conversations, activities, and recreational programs to promote mental and emotional health.
- Safety Measures: Ensure residents' safety by following proper protocols and responding promptly to call lights and emergencies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and reports.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support residents' individualized care plans.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Current certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
