Job Title: Cleanroom Production OperatorJob Description

The Cleanroom Production Operator plays a key role in safely and efficiently packaging products in a controlled cleanroom environment. This position focuses on operating filling and packaging lines, handling materials, and ensuring products are prepared and palletized according to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate production and packaging lines in a cleanroom environment, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Load bottles onto the production line and ensure they are correctly positioned for filling and capping.
  • Cap bottles accurately and consistently, maintaining line speed and product quality.
  • Bag products as required, including sealing bags when necessary to meet packaging specifications.
  • Load finished containers into boxes and ensure each box is correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
  • Construct and assemble boxes as needed to support ongoing production and packaging activities.
  • Palletize finished product by stacking full boxes onto pallets, including repetitive lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Rotate through different production and packaging duties every few hours to support team coverage and maintain workflow.
  • Stand for the full duration of the shift while performing production, packaging, and palletizing tasks.
  • Follow batch records and production documentation, signing off on completed tasks as required.
  • Accurately record batch numbers and other inventory information to support inventory management and traceability.
  • Perform visual inspections of products and packaging to ensure they meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain cleanroom standards by following gowning, cleanliness, and handling procedures.
  • Support line operation by monitoring equipment, reporting issues, and helping maintain smooth production flow.
  • Work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed to meet production goals and customer demand.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a production, filling, or packaging role or in a similar manufacturing position.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively, including lifting and stacking full boxes onto pallets.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift while performing production and packaging tasks.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to accurately follow instructions, complete documentation, and communicate with the team.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment or similar controlled setting.
  • Experience with inspection, line operation, and packaging processes.

  • Comfort working on multiple production lines and rotating duties throughout the day.
  • Attention to detail when following batch records and recording batch numbers for inventory management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
