Avaneer Dental Lab is a full-service dental laboratory known for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern digital technology to support dental practices with high-quality restorative and prosthetic products.  With locations in Warren, MI and Lakeland, FL, Avaneer Dental Lab successfully serves Dental practices with a wide range of dental lab solutions.

 Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer and Unpacker of cases with scanning responsibilities to join our dental laboratory team. This position involves packing and unpacking dental cases to ensure the safe shipment and receipt of materials, as well as scanning cases and materials for inventory tracking and quality control. The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of handling delicate dental items, and proficient in using scanning technology to maintain accurate inventory records.

 Key Responsibilities 
  • Following specific packing instructions to meet customer and shipping requirements, securely pack dental cases to ensure that all products are well-protected for transport.
  • Unpack all received cases
  • Perform quality checks on all received packages and record/report any discrepancies or damages
  • Scan inventory and track movement of materials with the lab.
  • Ensure accurate data entry for all incoming and outgoing items
  • Ensure that all packages and materials are clearly and accurately labeled with the correct information
  • Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all materials and supplies are easily accessible
  • Keep accurate records of all shipments, receipts and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Prior experience in packing, unpacking or warehouse operations.
  • Experience in a dental or medical device environment is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper handling, scanning and labeling
  • Familiarity with scanning technologies and inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and maintain an orderly workspace
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail when scanning or handling delicate items
 Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly, with the ability to lift heavier items occasionally.
