Intermediate Care Unit – Telemetry

Schedule: Day shift Options: 3x12 or 4x12 Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week for 3x12s, 48 hrs/week for 4x12s

Assignment Details: Minimum experience: 1 year First-time travelers accepted: Yes Pending license accepted: No Unit beds/rooms: 32 Typical daily census: 26

Requirements: Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIHSS Core clinical skills: Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation Dysrhythmia recognition/management Post-MI and pre/post cardiac catheterization care Pacemaker care Care for post-ICU transfers and CVA patients (per unit protocol)

Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for adult patients. Manage and recognize dysrhythmias. Provide post-MI and pre/post cardiac catheterization care. Administer care for patients with pacemakers. Support the transition of patients from ICU to step-down care.
