Class A CDL Company Driver

Big B Transport LLC – Northern California

Big B Transport LLC is hiring dependable and experienced Class A CDL drivers for consistent routes between Northern California and Southern California.

Position Overview

Drivers will operate company-owned tractor-trailers on regular California routes. This position is suitable for drivers looking for steady miles, consistent work and a long-term opportunity with a growing trucking company.

Route and Schedule

  • Northern California to Southern California and back
  • Approximately three round trips per week
  • Mostly dedicated California lanes
  • Consistent freight and regular work
  • Weekend home time available depending on load schedule
  • No team driving

Compensation

  • Competitive driver pay
  • Weekly or biweekly payment options
  • Pay increases available based on performance, reliability and length of employment
  • Additional compensation may be available for extra trips or special assignments

Driver Responsibilities

  • Complete pickups and deliveries safely and on time
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs and required paperwork
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch
  • Report delays, mechanical problems or cargo issues immediately
  • Keep the truck clean and properly maintained
  • Follow all FMCSA, DOT and company safety requirements
  • Secure freight and inspect equipment before departure
  • Treat customers, warehouse staff and dispatch professionally

Driver Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
  • Clean and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Must pass FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse verification
  • Must pass required drug screening and background checks
  • Verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to safely operate electronic logging equipment
  • Must be dependable, professional and available for scheduled loads
  • No unauthorized passengers or pets without company approval
  • Serious safety violations or preventable accidents will be reviewed individually
