Description:

Do you love being on the lake and providing exceptional guest experiences? Cragun’s Resort on beautiful Gull Lake is seeking a Part-Time/Seasonal Boat Captain to drive our illustrious North Star boat 1-2 days/week.


  • Safely operate passenger vessels in accordance with all Coast Guard regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vessel inspections.
  • Welcome guests aboard and provide a friendly, engaging experience.
  • Deliver safety briefings and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
  • Assist with boarding and disembarking passengers.
  • Monitor weather and water conditions to ensure safe operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of vessels.
  • Communicate effectively with marina staff, management, and guests.
  • Respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Valid USCG Master 100-Ton License and National OUPV “6-Pack” License
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Mechanical Inclination is a plus
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
