Position Summary
This supervisory role is responsible for overseeing a team of pickers/selectors to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment of customer orders, while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of order pickers/selectors on assigned shifts.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure accuracy, productivity, and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Train, coach, and mentor staff on order picking techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
  • Conduct shift briefings and communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
  • Assist with workforce planning, including shift scheduling and task assignments.
  • Perform quality checks to verify the accuracy of picked and packed orders.
  • Identify and resolve issues in real time to avoid shipment delays or order errors.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and other departments.
  • Monitor equipment usage and request maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and report incidents or unsafe behavior.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and reduce errors.
  • Maintain documentation related to employee performance, productivity, attendance, and incidents.

Desired Education/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
