Location: Topeka, KS

Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

Reports To: Shift Lead / Store Manager

Responsibilities & Key Duties

As a Team Member, you'll help ensure the store runs smoothly and every guest leaves happier than when they walked in. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Greet Guests warmly, engage with them, offer guidance or suggestions (e.g. smoothie flavors or nutrition options)
  • Blend smoothies & prepare other fan favorites following recipe standards to ensure quality and consistency
  • Operate POS/register, ring up sales, handle cash/credit transactions accurately
  • Prep ingredients: fruits, veggies, powders, liquids, frozen components - ensuring freshness and proper rotation
  • Restock supplies, portion sizes, maintain adequate inventory of frequently used items
  • Maintain cleanliness: wash dishes, sanitize equipment and surfaces, mop floors, clean restrooms and/or dining areas
  • Perform opening and/or closing duties: setting up stations, shutting down equipment, counting cash, securing store
  • Follow the store's daily checklist / cleaning schedule / food safety & sanitation policies
  • Assist teammates during busy times, help where needed (teamwork)
  • Be punctual, dressed in uniform, ready for work with a great attitude
Qualifications

What you must have:

  • At least 16 years old (adjust if local laws or store rules): must be able to work legally in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work (as shifts may vary)
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items (stock, ingredients), and work in a fast-paced environment

What's a plus (but not required):

  • Previous experience in food service, cafes, smoothie bars, or quick service restaurants
  • Prior cash handling or POS/register experience
  • Basic math skills, ability to follow recipes and portioning guidelines precisely
  • Soft skills: patience under pressure, positive attitude, good communication, ability to multi-task
