Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to partner with business and technology teams to drive process improvements, support system enhancements, and deliver data-driven insights. This role also plays a key part in managing ticket-driven support activities and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional solutions
• Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Manage and support ticket queues (e.g., SysAid), including triage, prioritization, and resolution
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with technical teams
• Monitor ticket trends and recommend long-term improvements
• Analyze data and develop reports or dashboards to support decision-making
• Participate in testing (UAT) and support system implementations and enhancements
• Maintain clear documentation, including SOPs and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate effectively with Finance, IT, and Operations teams
Required Skills
• ERP Knowledge: Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Billing, Asset Management, Procurement), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) a plus.
• Data Analysis: Proven ability to transform complex datasets into strategic business insights and comprehensive reports.
• Process Improvement: Demonstrated track record of process improvement through innovation and creativity while ensuring standardization and audit governance.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions to a wide audience.
• Adaptability and Collaboration: Positive, proactive, and self-motivated, with proven ability to work across multi-functional teams in a technical, fast-paced environment with upstream and downstream impacts and stakeholders.
• Customer Focus: Ability to respond to customer requirements with timely and effective technical solutions.
Requirements:
• Industry-Specific Experience: Experience working in the Insurance Industry.
• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or accountancy qualification.
• Technical Understanding: Proficiency with Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA macros.
• Experience with ticketing systems (SysAid, ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
