Job description

Job Summary

Candidates will provide stabilization and rehabilitation substance abuse nursing services to clients in a residential setting in accordance with OASAS and Agency rules and regulations.

Candidate will participates in weekly Case Conferences including team meetings.

Responsibilities :

  • Facilitates/coordinates screening and admission of clients
  • Assesses/documents client detoxification progress
  • Monitors withdrawal process, motivates clients towards treatment, and assesses their readiness for transition

Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations : NYS Registered Nurse Certificate and CPR certification.

Education Requirements : Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field; or degree in Substance Abuse Counseling.

Experience Requirements : Must have a minimum of five years nursing experience and experience in the field of alcoholism and substance abuse.

Job Schedule: Per-Diem on Weekends
