Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Pay Rate: $53/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experienceAbout the Role

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. This role is based in a long-term care facility located on a hospital campus and requires flexibility with varied shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.

  • Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information and condition changes.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and ADL support.

  • Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, and wound vac care.

  • Support CPAP care, tracheostomy care, and other assigned nursing duties.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow facility care standards.

Requirements

  • Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required by start of assignment.

  • Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply upon offer acceptance.

  • BLS/BCLS certification required.

  • Minimum 1 year of RN Long Term Care experience required.

  • Must be flexible with varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
