This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
  • Prepares and administers medications charts as required
  • Administers treatments

  • Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements

  • Long term care experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in Arkansas (or hold a compact license)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
