Job description

Job Title: Operator
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Type: Contract
Compensation: $22.00/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 5 AM - 1:30 PM M-F
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for manufacturing of beadlets, powder blends and liquid suspensions.
  • Manufacturing as per batch records.
  • Expertise in beadlet operations, milling and blending.
  • Capable of operation all equipment in production.
  • Work collaboratively with other operators under his section to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Ensure GMP and FSSC 22000 standards compliance for all batch operations.
  • Operate PK and Ribbon blenders designed for continuous mixing and blending of powders or incorporation of liquid additives.
  • Operate Fitz, Alpine, and Jet Mills for grinding crystalline or friable materials to specified size ranges.
  • Operate Sweco, Allgaier, and Kason Sifters for separating and screening oversize and fine particles.
  • Use Tray Oven and Beadlet Dryer for processing.
  • Operate Lee Kettle and other mixing vessels for emulsifying, suspending, and homogenizing liquid products.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and/or Trade School Diploma. AA or BS Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in an FDA / cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer skills and good organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Knowledge of operating PK and Ribbon blenders, Fitz, Alpine, Jet Mills, Sifters, Tray Ovens, Beadlet Dryers, Lee Kettle, and other mixing vessels.
