Job description

Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine (Pacific Fertility) is seeking a Procedural Sedation IVF Registered Nurse for a casual position at our Burnaby clinic.

Schedule: Weekdays and weekends as needed.ย 

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Support patients through fertility treatments with compassion and professionalism.
  • Provide safe and effective procedural sedation during IVF and gynecological procedures.
  • Assist physicians in the OR during egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and other reproductive procedures.
  • Educate and empower patients and their partnersโ€”covering everything from injection techniques to aftercare and resources.
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient safety (CCHSA goals) and clinical excellence.
  • Be the calm, confident presence patients can rely on in a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration with the Provincial Nursing College.
  • BSN, Degree, or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Current BLS and ACLS with AED training.
  • SEPSA (Safe and Effective Procedural Sedation and Analgesia) certification.
  • Clinical confidence, excellent communication, and strong teamwork skills.
  • A steady hand, a compassionate heart, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, or related position.
  • Experience working in a womenโ€™s health or reproductive environment is an asset.
  • Must be fully vaccinated.ย
