Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a weekend-only CVICU position requiring TN or compact RN licensure and prior critical care experience.

Details

  • Serves cardiothoracic surgery (open heart recovery) and neuro/neurosurgery patients along with high-acuity diagnoses including cardiac surgery/transplant, myocardial infarction, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, post cardiopulmonary arrest, and post ventricular assist device placement
  • Also provides ICU-level care for COVID-19 patients up to ECMO support
  • 15-bed unit serving adolescent through late adult patients (ages 14-60+)
  • RN to patient ratio of 1:2
  • Direct patient care team includes RNs and Patient Care Techs
  • Weekend-only contract with shifts scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday for 36 hours, or Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday for 48 hours
  • Shift hours are 18:45-07:15
  • 13-week assignment
