Position Overview

Casper Mountain Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care, leadership, and collaboration within a skilled nursing environment.

As an RN, you will provide hands-on nursing care, support and guide team members, and play a critical role in monitoring resident health and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes and enhance the overall well-being of our residents.

At Casper Mountain Rehab, our RNs are valued as leaders and trusted to apply their clinical expertise, build strong relationships with residents and families, and contribute to a supportive and professional care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and established clinical practices

  • Perform ongoing assessments of resident conditions, identifying changes and implementing appropriate interventions

  • Prepare and administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice

  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care

  • Provide education and guidance to residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and health management

  • Supervise, delegate, and support nursing assistants and other team members to ensure safe and effective care delivery

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

  • Participate in infection prevention, quality improvement, and resident safety initiatives

  • Respond appropriately to changes in condition and emergency situations using sound clinical judgment

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, professional standards, and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Wyoming

  • Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, resident-centered care across varying levels of acuity

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support nursing staff

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
