Job description

Caring Hearts Homecare is looking to hire Nurses (RNs and LPNs) PER DIEM weekend positions in:
  • Area 1: Boston (Boston, Dorchester, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, Roslindale, Roxbury, Roxbury Crossing, South Boston, South End, West Roxbury).
  • Area 2: Brighton (Brighton, Cambridge, Charlestown, Somerville).

Qualifications of Staff Nurse include:
  • A current nursing license in Massachusetts RN or LPN.
  • Hands-on nursing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities of Staff Nurse include:
  • Provide professional nursing care to clients in their homes.
  • Assess, evaluate, and teach clients regarding their disease processes and treatments.
  • Review, implement, and follow the plan of care and perform re-evaluations of the client's care needs.
  • Provide hands-on nursing care, like administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Collaborate with clients’ primary doctors, other providers, and caregivers in care delivery.
