Job description

Emergency Nurse (Regional Assignment) About the position: AsiccMed is seeking registered nurses for regional assignments in hospital emergency departments across Quebec. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in stimulating environments while discovering the diverse regions of the province. Start date: Immediate - Full-time / Part-time – Variable shift Salary: Up to $57.90/contract plus other benefits (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, continuing education plan, etc.) Main responsibilities: Perform patient triage according to the Canadian Triage and Severity Scale (CTS) Assess the physical and mental condition of patients upon arrival Administer medications and treatments according to current prescriptions and protocols.

Monitor, document and record the evolution of patients' conditions Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team (doctors, respiratory therapists, social workers) Use emergency medical equipment and devices Ensure patient discharge planning and transmit follow-up instructions Requirements: Member in good standing of the OIIQ (mandatory) DEC in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency or acute short-term care Current CPR certification (ACLS an asset) TNCC certification (an asset) Autonomy, clinical judgment, adaptability Terms of the mandate: Various hours: day, evening, night, weekends Accommodation provided depending on the region Non-taxable per diem (remote regions) Support from an on-site nursing advisor
