Job description

DESCRIPTION
Your primary role is to ensure guest rooms and public spaces are clean, comfortable, and ready to provide an exceptional guest experience. As a Housekeeper, you play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality expected at Columbia's only Four-Diamond luxury boutique hotel.
Guest Room Cleaning: Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing guest amenities.
Bathroom Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including tubs, showers, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
Public Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness throughout public spaces, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other assigned areas.
Inventory & Organization: Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Quality Assurance: Self-inspect completed rooms and work areas to ensure they meet hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all hotel safety procedures and comply with health, sanitation, chemical handling, and workplace safety regulations. Report maintenance issues, damaged furnishings, or safety concerns promptly.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with fellow housekeeping staff and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Assist with deep-cleaning projects and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks
