Job description

Propane Service Technician - Ashland, VA
CDL Class B with Tanker, Hazmat and Air Break endorsement

They will provide Propane tank installations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all state/local codes and Superior safety policies. Perform gas and leak checks.
Identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection. Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks in preparation of installation.
Must maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
Conduct and document pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
Requirements *
The ideal Propane Technician will have:
Tech’s would have job-related (Propane) experience preferred but some type of technician/mechanical ability is required (ex: HVAC or plumbing, piping work, etc.)
CDL Class B with Tanker, Hazmat and Air Break endorsement
High school diploma or equivalent
Driving experience- 1 yr. minimum and CDL
Propane Delivery experience a plus
Ideally 1-3 years job related (Propane) experience
Clean drivers abstract
Up-to-date DOT medical certification
CTEP Training
