Job description

  • Driver experience needed. 2 years minimum preferred
  • Looking for drivers based in SLC to drive to St George, UT, Idaho Falls, ID, and Grand Junction, CO multiple times a week.
  • You drive to those locations and return same day (you're typically home each night)
  • CDL A certification w/Hazmat Endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
  • Must know how to drive a manual transmission rig.
  • Team player, good attitude and attendance record.
  • M-F - no weekends
Primary Responsibilities
You’ll be covering our Class A Driver routes from Salt Lake City to Idaho Falls, ID and also to St. George, UT. to surrounding states as needed. If no routes need coverage, you could be loading, unloading, picking, and stocking in your home location. We will need you to safely operate an assortment of standard warehouse forklift equipment. While in the DC in SLC or Utah County, you’ll need to use a handheld scanner with our wireless warehouse system.
This position is hourly, with overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Road expenses are reimbursed. You’ll be operating late model equipment leased, maintained, and fueled through Penske. You’ll be using Samsara ELD on a company assigned device to track all your work time.


Qualification Requirements
Commitment to excellent customer service
Proactive, ability to work independently and execute job duties with minimal supervision
Requires an ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Intermittent periods of physical exertion are required (i.e., walking, standing, and stooping)
Organized, detailed, and goal oriented.
Excels in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Full-Time position, shifts WILL vary Sunday evening through Friday afternoon.


Education/Experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Class A or B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement or willingness to obtain Hazmat Endorsement immediately
  • 2 years of experience in warehousing is preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Meet company MVR standards
  • Medical card needed
